Psalm 91 is a wonderful psalm that speaks to what is gained by making the Lord God our refuge. In these times of so much uncertainty, doesn’t it make sense that we need someone outside of ourselves to help us navigate our minds, our life and this world? I know I do. I often read this scripture but I personalize it. So I have it here for you to also personalize.
As caregivers we are faced the added burden during this pandemic of “bringing” the virus home to our loved ones. When we might take the chance to go out with our friends or family we have to put our immediate needs aside, again, and think of the person whom God has entrusted us to care for. So we don’t go or at least I don’t go. But I’m ok I know my calling in this season and I have accepted it. I’m good!
